Versatility

I have three kitchen items that I use almost daily (aside from my stove/oven, of course!) - food processor, kitchenaide mixer, and my micro-cooker. The micro-cooker is the easiest and fastest way to cook/steam my vegetables and it leaves my veggies with a flavor that surpasses stove-top steaming. The best part? I do not have to add any water; simply add your vegetables, slide on lid and press the vegetable button on your microwave.

I also venture out of the vegetable group and make a super fast breakfast! Three eggs, a little bit of coconut milk (I've also used almond milk OR coconut butter - mmm), whisk, slide top on and cook for 5 minutes. Delicious and the micro-cooker is a breeze to clean.

I have cooked my sweet potatoes and add coconut milk or coconut butter and mash without using another bowl. Perfect post-wod fuel!

I had some leftover grass-fed ground beef (raw) and decided to put in the cooker with chopped bell peppers, chopped carrots, tomato sauce, some spices and cooked for 5-8 mins. and had a tasty and filling lunch. Amazingly, the meat does not have to be thawed prior to cooking. You are also able to cook fish and vegetables together in this micro-cooker.

I would be interested in hearing what others have cooked in this thing, since I know there are several of you that mentioned you use it.

  2. Pampered Chef - I believe Christina @ WCF is still a Pampered Chef rep. That's where I got mine. I wished I would have purchased the larger one though, keep that in mind. I use mine frequently.
