Endurance Athlete Fuel

50g of Whey protein (Isoflex is a good brand and they come in different flavors - it’s a mix of whey protein isolate, hydrosolates, glutamine peptides, some insulin sensitizers and other good stuff) To this you can add ¼-1/2 can of coconut milk (authentic Thai coconut milk…you know, the kind that has no English on it; since that stuff is typically watered down junk) and 2 heaping tablespoons of coco powder.
Blend and drink within 30 minutes of tough training session or race.

  2. Brooke, I get a lot of my stuff online - there just seems to be better pricing that way. You can check out the nutrition stores you frequent and ask them about it (some really good nutrition stores will order these things for you!). If not - online! :)
